Wine Tasting #15

Name: Barth Rene
Variety: Pinot Blanc
Region: Alsace
Country: France
Year: 2012
Price: $9.95
Shop/Wine Critic Review: "This is a crisp, fresh Pinot Blanc. It has a light touch of spice,
although the wine is really dominated by tight green apples and fragrant acidity. It is ready
to drink now." – Vintage Cellar
My Review: This wine involved hints of apple and honey which was quite refreshing to taste. It had a spicy and dry aftertaste which added another punch of flavor to the wine. It was a very mediocre wine for me, I’m not sure I would try it again. I did not eat this with food.
